How to Use AutoStory in JIRA
Opening AutoStory
Once you are logged into JIRA, look for the Apps menu in the top ribbon bar.
Click Apps, then on AutoStory
Creating a Ticket
Simply fill in the required fields.
For Ticket Title, the more descriptive the better. This is what will be used to generate your ticket. You don't have to go crazy though.
Ticket Type: Currently "Story" and "Bug" are supported.
Project: Choose your desired project.
If you would like Acceptance Criteria or Testing Criteria added to your ticket, simply click the associated checkboxes.
Submit your required details by clicking Create Ticket
AutoStory takes around 15 seconds on average to generate your ticket. Once it is ready, you will see it in the familiar Jira popup window. Feel free to edit it as much as you'd like.
Once satisfied, simply click Create in the bottom left.
You'll be returned to the main AutoStory form and can continue creating another ticket.
